Who doesn't love brownies? We do!!! Especially when someone so dear calls up and wants my favorite recipe, makes me read it to her, and gets my mouth watering. It's definitely a favorite around here. But you haven't LIVED until you've had a brownie the way Sammy makes them!So we made brownies last night. We nibbled on them all day today. Sammy found a little old piece of paper with notes written on it. He decided it was his "recipe," and asked me about 15 times what he should make with his recipe. I gave him about 19 suggestions throughout the day, but not one satisfied him, until we hit upon brownies! So tonight at dinner, he gave the family his "recipe" for brownies:
"So this is my recipe for brownies: First, rhinoceros with not tusks, noodles, cookies, and the best fing is peaches! No wait! And the goodest fing...popcorn! There! That's my recipe!"
We all loved the rhinoceros part the best. Mmmmmm...good!

The other night, Grandma, David and Steve were all talking about this brownie recipe of Sam's. They thought it was the cutest thing ever, and I agree. It is the cutest thing ever.
Hey! We were the one who called about brownies, huh?? Well, Lily called but I was there.
Anyway I really think the "goodest fing, popcorn", sounds actually really good. Cover the popcorn in chocolate and mix them in the batter, doesn't that sound exciting? It does to me, anyway.
